Gunstock Ranch - One of our favorite places for trail riding is on the beautiful Gunstock Ranch in Kahuku. The sweeping ocean view from the lookout point is breathtaking. Besides trailriding at Gunstock, we also enjoy their team sorting and team penning events. This is truly a working ranch that can accommodate any level of rider -- from "green" beginners on trail rides to seasoned ropers, sorters and barrel racers.
Hawaii Women's Rodeo Association (HWRA) - The HWRA is a wonderful, family organization which hosts six jackpot rodeoes annually, as well as the grand finale event each season -- the All-Girls Rodeo. The largest such rodeo in the state and the largest rodeo of any type on the island of Oahu, this event draws competitors from the neighbor islands as well as from Oahu.
